SL sewing machines
At the location since 1874 industrial sewing machines are manufactured. Up to the expropriation in the year 1946 the company was in the possession of the family of the firm founder Mr. Julius Köhler. In the years up to 1993 predominantly industrial sewing machines for manufacturing of knitware were developed and manufactured under the brand "TEXTIMA". With the privatisation the product profile changed to the development and production of special sewing equipment for technical textiles as well as niche products because of the new market situation. The very precise individual parts, building groups and assemblies are manufactured up to 70% in the own enterprise under adherence to the DIN EN ISO 9001.

The SL-Spezialnaehmaschinenbau Limbach GmbH & Co. KG is a mechanical engineering enterprise in Saxonia (Germany). We offer sew-technological solutions, from industrial sewing machines up to complete system approaches.
We offer special sewing machines for technical textiles (to manufacturing, sewing and overedging), shoe repair sewing machines, fur sewing machine as well as bag closing technology (bag closing machine and bag closing plants) to lock open bags with bulk cargo including bag handling (supply, change, closing, labeling and out-promote) in packaging installations. For manufacturing or covering rope-like structures by means of Kemafil technology equipment in perpendicular and horizontal function building method on customer's request as system approach are projected and manufactured.
